We asked the folks from Zola, an online wedding planning suite, for some handy tips to get you organized. “In order to keep everything organized and stress-free, keep track of the guest list, who RSVP’d, who sent a gift, and what they gave. Zola allows couples to manage their guest list and use its Thank-You Note Manager. This will export a list of which guests got you what gifts and when they purchased them. The general rule is that thank-you notes for shower gifts should be mailed within two or three weeks, and early wedding gifts should be acknowledged before the wedding day. After the wedding, thank-you notes should be sent within three months. It’s important to stay on top of these not only because it’s polite, but who would want that to pile up?!
